Leading independent Swindon estate agent, Castles Residential Sales & Lettings has a brand new website.

www.castlesproperty.co.uk has been completely revamped to reflect the growth of the business and demand for property in the Swindon area.

The site is fully responsive, which means property hunters can search for homes and navigate the site easily from a computer, tablet or smartphone.

New features include downloadable premium brochures tailored to each property – a selling tool only offered by Castles in the Swindon area. This 40 page e-zine presents the property in full colour and
gives detailed information about prices, authorities, transport links, schools, health services, amenities and the community. Homeowners can buy the print version of this as a souvenir of their new home.

Also new are quick access buttons for sharing site content on social media and for arranging a free property valuation with Castles.

Speaking as the new site went live,
Mark Noble, founder and managing director of Castles, said: “Over the last year, this business has taken huge strides forward, so we wanted to reflect that in our website. We now offer buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords the best online selling and searching tools by far in the Swindon area.”

The new site launch follows the recent announcement that Castles has expanded its team with the appointments of Mohammad Karim and Mike Hughes as sales consultants and Sarah Dunn as valuer.

Meanwhile, the number of rental properties managed by
Castles is up 34 per cent year on year. Throughout 2015, its sales team exchanged contracts on more than 300 houses.

With over 210 customer reviews on allAgents.co.uk, Castles enjoys an overall customer rating of 4.8 out of 5.
The business is ranked 101 out of 14,561 UK estate agents on the site as of Friday 19 February.

It was handpicked by Cartus, the world’s premier provider of relocation services as Swindon’s only relocation agent and was selected for memberships with The Guild of Professional Estate Agents and The Relocation Agent Network.

The company won the Wiltshire Small Business of the Year award in 2007 and The Relocation Agent Network’s Best Agent regional award for Wiltshire in 2011 and 2012. In 2014, Castles finished runner-up and received a commendation in the latter award.

Castles Residential Sales & Lettings has thrown its support behind International Women’s Day (IWD) Swindon.

The company, one of Swindon’s leading estate agents, has confirmed a sponsorship package for the event, which this year falls on Saturday 5 March 2016. On that day a talk and panel discussion at the Central Library on will take place from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm. Other highlights include an evening performance and talk is at Swindon Dance on Friday 11 March.

Looking forward to IWD,
Anna Rouse, lettings manager at Castles, said: “We’re extremely proud to support women and girls in around Swindon. Estate agency is traditionally a male dominated sector. However, at Castles, half our staff are female. We’re proud to be challenging – and changing – outdated perceptions, so to get involved with IWD was a natural decision for us."

IWD Swindon is designed to help women and girls shape their futures by networking, engaging with technology and sharing their ideas.

IWD Swindon is a volunteer led, community group based in Swindon. Its
aim is to enlighten, stimulate and inspire women and girls of all ages.

Events in Swindon to mark International Women’s Day include a three-venue exhibition titled Dress:Code at ArtSite’s Number 9 Gallery, the Museum of Computing and Central Library from 4 to 31 March. This will address the topic of women and girls in technology through contemporary art, information and museum exhibits. There will also be workshops and special events throughout the month.

IWD Swindon 2016 is a partnership with ArtSite, Swindon College, Swindon Dance, Swindon Library and The Museum of Computing.

Karen Roswell, co-organiser of the IWD Swindon events, said: “Our motto this year is equality for women in the age of technology. Research shows that there’s been a marked decline in the number women in computing since the 1980s and there are still too few girls and women entering the industry. People coming to the IWD Swindon events will hear from inspirational experts who will be sharing their knowledge and insights.”

With over 200 customer reviews on allAgents.co.uk, Castles enjoys an overall customer rating of 4.8 out of 5. The business is ranked 101 out of 14,466 UK estate agents on the site as of 24 February 2016.

One property in every three that go up for sale or rental in Swindon never makes it onto the internet.

That startling statistic was revealed by Mark Noble, founder and managing director of leading independent Swindon estate agent, Castles Residential Sales & Lettings.

Urging people not to rely on internet searches alone, Mark said: “We strongly recommend anyone looking for a new home to register with us the minute they start. People are missing out because many homes get snapped up without being advertised publically. Similarly, anyone wishing to sell or let their home should call us as soon as possible too, as we have waiting lists of potential buyers and tenants for homes of all types and sizes.”

At Castles Residential Sales & Lettings, some properties are selling and letting within days, if not hours of becoming available.

The gathering pace of the property boom in Swindon is such that online portals like Rightmove and Zoopla are unable to keep up. “There are several buyers for every property in Swindon,” says Mark. “Very often, by the time a home appears on the portals, it’s gone. Some p
eople are afraid to put their homes on the market as they’re worried they won’t find what they’re looking for. We have new properties going up for sale every day, yet in some cases the only way to find out about them before they sell is to register with us.”

Castles Residential Sales & Lettings is ranked 101 out of 14,538 UK estate agents on allAgents, as of Thursday 4 February 2016. It was handpicked by Cartus, the world’s premier provider of relocation services as Swindon’s only relocation agent and was selected for memberships with The Guild of Professional Estate Agents and The Relocation Agent Network.
